It's Hammy Time!

This little box card is made using Time for Tea Designs "Hooray Hamsters" Stamp set, Uniko's "Pinstripe II" stamp and coloured with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blends.

I stamped then coloured and fussy cut 2 different hamsters, the wheel and the sunflower seeds. I then stamped the "Pinstripe II" stamp using the "Slate Grey" prism ink pad to make the background. I then made a wrap out of acetate with 1" sides and ½" tabs for sticking to the background. I stuck ½" wide of scrap patterned card to the bottom and made a ½" wide panel of scrap white card, coloured in with "Jersey Cream" prism ink pad for the hamsters to be stuck to. Before I stuck the background to the wrap, I stamped the "It's hammy time" sentiment in the top corner using Spectrum Noir harmony "Jet Black" ink pad. I used foam pads to stick the wheel to the background and then stuck it all together. To finish I added a panel of white card to the back to add some stability and hide the acetate flaps.

Thank you for visiting, I hoped you liked this post.

Fairy Happy Birthday

I made this 6x6" card using Time for Tea Designs "Fairy Garden" stamp set, Uniko's "Party Confetti" stencil, prism ink pads and coloured with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blends.

I started by die-cutting a square piece of smooth white card using Hunkydory's "Scalloped and Straight Nesting Dies-Square". I then taped it to my stencil, using "Blue Lagoon", "Purple Velvet" and "Dusky Rose" I blended the background and stuck it to my card. I stamped the fairy, cupcake and the "Fairy Happy Birthday" sentiment, coloured them in, fussy cut the cupcake and stuck it in the fairy's hand. I then die-cut the fairy using Hunkydory's "Nesting Circles" dies, blended the edge using "Purple Velvet", Die-cut the sentiment using "Nesting Rectangles", blended the edge using "Dusky Rose" and stuck them to the card using foam pads.

I won a prize :)

So I did a blog hop, which I love doing because you get to see some fantastic cards and I was picked as a winner! My prize, which was this lovely stamp set, turned up yesterday and it would be rude not to have had a play.
This card is made using Uniko's "Hello Lovely" stamp set and coloured with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blends.

I started with an A6 card blank and die-cut it with the Die'sire "Isabel" die. I then stamped, coloured and fussy cut the floral spray from the stamp set and stuck it to the card so it was overlapping the die-cut part slightly. Then I stamped the "Hello" and "Lovely" sentiment on the top and bottom of the card. To finish I added some pink/yellow ombre card inside so it shows the delicate die-cut edge.
