BIG Hugs.

I used Time for Tea Designs "You're Elephantastic", "Butterflies" and "Beauty sleep" stamp sets to make this wobbly elephant card.

So first I stamped the elephant and the butterfly, Cut out some cloud shapes freehand and used M&C Boutique balloon alphabet dies (Brought from The Works) to cut out the word "hugs".

I then coloured them in using Spectrum Noir Tri-Blends. Ice grey blend for the elephant, brown-grey blend for his nails, pale pink blend for the balloons and the wings of the butterfly, Citrus blend and burnt orange blend (light side only) for the butterfly's body and wingtips and blue turquoise to outline the clouds.
I then stamped the "BIG" sentiment from the elephantastic stamp set onto the biggest cloud.

I cut a piece of blue/green ombre to the same size as my card blank. Using Hunkydory Moonstone circle nesting dies (any circle nesting dies will work) I cut out a circle from the Blue/green card and also a bigger (I went up 2 sizes) circle from a scrap piece of the same colour.

I then used the little cloud from time for tea's "beauty sleep" stamp set and Hunkydory's prism "blue Lagoon" ink pad to add some little clouds to the background.

I wrapped one end of some pale pink cotton around the bottom of each balloon letter securing it at the back with a foam pad. I then cut around the elephant's hand so I could wrap the other end of the cotton around it again securing it with a small foam pad.
I stuck the "hugs" word down using more foam pads.
I then lined up the bigger circle behind the hole, put a foam pad in the middle and stuck the elephant onto the foam pad.
I then stuck foam pads to the back of the card leaving the bigger circle some wiggle room.
Foam tape would work better but I ran out as you can probably tell from the picture.

Then I added the clouds and butterfly. I put some of the clouds on foam pads for a bit of dimension.

I hope you liked this card. The stamps sets I used can be brought here

Some bunny loves you.

So Today I made a hidden pull tab card. Using Time for Tea Designs bunny Digi stamps.

Print the Bunnies "don't worry be hoppy" and "no bunny compares to you", the "some bunny" sentiment and the "loves you" sentiment Digi stamps. Stamp some flowers and mushrooms using the "beauty sleep" and "butterflies" stamp sets and die-cut some clouds from the "box clever" die set or draw some clouds freehand.
To colour them in I used Spectrum Noir Tri-Blends "Red Brown blend" for the bunnies, "Pale pink blend" for inside the ears, "Magenta blend", "Burnt orange blend" and "citrus blend" for the flowers, "dark red blend" for the mushrooms and "ice grey blend" for the shading on the all the white bits.
Fussy cut the bunnies, flowers and mushrooms. I cut the bucket away from the "no bunny compares to you" Digi stamp so he looks like he's looking out a hole. Cut the sentiments into rectangles, I did this using a scoreboard.

Cover an A6 card with Ombre green/blue card from Make and Create Ombre design pad (brought from The Works).
Then die-cut a piece of smooth white card using the biggest frame in Time for Tea's "Hello nesting rectangle die set" and then die-cut the slider hole using the long thin rectangle from the "Box clever" die set (you could use the long thin rectangle in the hello set if you preferred but it's slightly shorter).
Use Hunkydory Prism ink pad "blue lagoon" and the beautiful blender brushes to make the sky effect.

Cut a piece of scrap card to be just wider and about half an inch longer than the die used for the slider hole.
Then add foam tape to the back of the card, making a track for the slider mechanism at the same time. Make sure you leave the left side (from the back) of the slider hole bare or you won't be able to put the slider mechanism in (which I forgot to do and had to the foam pad off ).
TIP: Wipe the edges of the foam tape with talcum powder or anti-static brush/pad to make sure the slider part slides smoothly.

When that is stuck down put the slider mechanism into the hole.
Cut a small piece of scrap card, stick it to the back of your running bunny, make sure your bunny can be seen over the grass. Then using foam pads stick the bottom of the scrap card to the slider mechanism so the bunny should slide across your card.
To make the grass I die cut a piece of green/yellow ombre card using the same frame die as before and then freehand cut a grassy top.
Then using foam pads only along the sides and bottom (NOT the top or it will stop your bunny from sliding) stick the grass to the card.

Stick the "some bunny" to the lower right edge, then pull the slider mechanism out and stick the "loves you" sentiment onto the slider so it lines up with the other sentiment.
Add the flowers, mushrooms, other bunny and the clouds and you're done.

You give me Butterflies.

6x6" card made using Time for Tea designs "butterflies" stamp set.

I started by cutting a piece of smooth white card stock to 5½" square.
I used a heart stencil I had from printable heaven, Hunkydory Prism ink in "Camellia Pink" and Time for Tea's Beautiful blending brushes to create the background.
I then added some sparkle using Spectrum Noir "clear sparkle overlay".

I layered the heart background onto a 6x6" piece of distressed pink card from Make and Create pretty in pink 12x12" pad (brought from the works). I then stuck this to the card blank.

Please excuse the smudged bottom, I left it on the arm of my chair to let the sparkle dry a bit and a very waggy pup dog decided it needed sitting on.

I stamped the girl, 2 butterflies and the "give me butterflies" sentiment, which I layered onto a scrap piece of distressed pink card.
I coloured the stamps using Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers: Magenta Blend, Fair Skin Blend, Pale Pink Blend ( Lightest one for the girl's cheeks) Blue Turquoise Blend, Citrus Blend and Burnt Orange Blend (just the lightest one for a bit more defined shading in the girl's hair).

I cut the stamps out using the coordinating dies and I stuck them to my card using 2mm sticky bobs (foam pads).

I hope you like this card. The Stamp set, Die set and the beautiful blender brushes can be brought Here

Drink Wine, Snuggle dog, repeat.

6x6" card made using Splash Crafts Paw Prints USB.

For this card I used the tri-colour spaniel printed onto Splash Crafts "print perfect" 200gsm card, I then used a scalloped circle die brought from The Works to cut it out. I trimmed the scallop edging off and then cut a piece of textured pearlescent peach card using the same die and layered it up. The sentiment is made using the same technique and a smaller scalloped die from the same pack.
The background is from the Paw Prints USB and printed onto 120gsm "print perfect" and layered onto a 5¾" square of the same textured peach card.
The band of the peach card is cut using Hunkydory Crafts Moonstone dies scalloped rectangles but using the same die-cutting into the card again to make it slimmer.
The embossed white band is just a scrap piece of white textured pearlescent card, embossed using an embossing folder that came with my Hobbycraft die cutting machine.
The pearls are coloured in using a sharpie pen.

Berry sweet.

Double slider card made with Time for Tea Designs "Woodland Critters" stamps.

So today I decided I wanted to to make a double slider.
I used Hunkydory Crafts Adorable Scoreboard to make the main card and slider part (no dies). I used one small circle die placed half on the edges of the card for the cutout tabs.
I didn't stick this to a card blank as I think it could be used to give a gift card or money but still keep its compact size.

I used Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers for colouring and the sky is made using Time for Tea's beautiful blender brush and Hunkydory's Prism ink pad in "blue lagoon".
